Just was browsing around the Summerfest website (www.summerfest.com) and found that a couple Celtic Radio bands are going to be in Milwaukee.

CARBON LEAF!!!!!!!!!
June 29 8:30pm Miller Lite Oasis Stage. They will be the act preceding the BoDeans on the first day of the festival.

FLOGGING MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!
July 5th 9:30pm Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage. Flogging Molly is the headliner act for this stage on the 5th!

You can get gate passes in advance at the Summerfest website. You can also get them the day of. Adults $8 before 4 weekdays, $15 after 4pm weekdays and on weekends. There are also special "promo" activities that can get you in for free or nearly free. See the Summerfest website for details.

I'm not one for Summerfest myself...but I might consider going to see Carbon Leaf...they don't make it around here very often.

A good icebreaker when going to concerts like this is to mention to the band members during their break that you heard of them through Highlander Radio. It always makes for good conversation and it is good for us too.

Heather Dale wrote to me a few weeks back on her world wide tour and she was compelled to write because tons of people have come up to her and mentioned they heard her on Highlander Radio.

Way to go! thumbs_up.gif
