This is a gorgeous and poignant song that captures the bitter/sweet of relationships that pass on, capturing too the reality that they never pass on. The fingerstyle guitar is sweet as are the pipes and accompaniment. The vocals are perfect for the story being told. I felt like I was sitting in the next booth to this guy, and hearing his sad lament of a song as he drinks himself into surrender. I look forward to hearing more songs from this singer-songwriter.
