Thanks for fixing it!
I guess I'm one of the few people up in the wee hours to notice the problem. |

I've been out of the loop for awhile on this website. But I've noticed the past 3 nights, the live stream of Highlander Radio through the Celtic radio website goes offline every night. I checked the broadcast schedule and don't see any scheduled downtimes listed on a daily basis. Is this a nightly thing? |

I hear ya on the "under employment". Hubby got laid off from a chief engineer's position at an Inn 1 1/2 years ago, and ended up getting a job as a substitute custodian for the school system. We took about a 20k hit to our household income per year. |

I have absolutely NO faith in Obama as a CIC or as a President for that matter. Personally, I'd like to see it become a requirement that anyone running for president has to have served at least 4 years in Active Duty Service!

Well, I won't make that mistake again! About 60% of the concert really stank!
I absolutely love Blackmore's Night, but after the other night, I won't bother going to a live performance again. Where to begin...
The show was scheduled to start at 7:00pm. The first hint of activity was more like 7:25pm. One of their band members, Earl Gray of Chamay, came out on stage and played 1 song on a guitar. Then he got off the stage. Then a new-ish band member (one they "stole" from Des Geyers), Minstrel Albert, proceded to play a few songs on various bag pipes as well as a few on the Hurdy Gurdy. He played Scarborough Faire and sang all 100 verses it seems, and then played a Jewish song, also with all 100 verses. Those 2 songs seemed like they'd never end! He also has an accent (it reminds me of a co-worker of mine who was from Guam) and it comes out in his singing as well. So the laughter that was in the audience was not one of appreciation. There was much grumbling around me about when the real show would begin.
So Minstrel Albert gets done with his opening act at about 8:05pm. Then they have an intermission!?!? An intermission for what? They real show hasn't even begun yet. The full band doesn't get onto the stage until 8:30pm.
Once it truly started, it was really good. Candice and Gypsy Rose were singing wonderfully. There was a lot of humor and joking going on among the bandmembers as well as between Candice and Ritchie.
At the end, they came back out to do an encore of 2 songs. After the 2nd song, Ritchie took off his guitar and just walked off stage. I thought that was a bit abrupt. Even Candice stared after him with a questioning look. Then she kinda shrugged her shoulders and told everyone good night and have a safe trip home. It was almost like he got ticked off at something and decided to stalk off the stage.
I really love their music, but from now on I will stick to listening to it on their CD's. |

I'm glad he's gone. I work in the DC area and was around for that mess. There was a person shot across the street from White Flint Mall about 3 miles up the road from where I was working. That was a scary couple of weeks... |

LOL! It's so crazy, there's no way they could make that up. At least it will give the insurance guys a good laugh... |

Gotta love how they declared it "treasure" and therefore belongs to the queen. I wonder if the poor bloke who found it will get anything... |

I actually hope this goes through. It would be about the only thing Obama has done to protect jobs in this country. |

I used to get 50 cents in the form of a half dollar coin. I thought those were rare, so I saved them all. I still have them in my old coffee can wrapped up in a roll. Now, I give my kids "gold" dollars (Sacagawea's). Since they view them as "rare", they also save them, rather than spend them. |
