Danann takes a chair near the fire and sips at her brew of choice - which on this fine day happens to be a flavored coffee - and smiles.
Oh, dragons are more plentiful than one might think they are. I have a tale that you'd enjoy, dear Sisterknight, and one that might make others think twice about their personalities. Long ago when I first began to frequent this establishment I was called rather unexpectedly to aid a family that is under my charge. Of course, I can travel at the speed of thought given my abilities in magic, but even that was not quick enough. By the time I arrived there a beautiful golden dragon had arrived to defend the kind family from the brigands that had taken it into their heads to torment the villagers in this district. With his might and his strength aided by my magic, we were able to turn them away and restore health and security to this family, as well as others that had been plagued in that area. Of course, with magic use that intense, I was too tired to travel. He lent me some of his strength and returned me here so I could rest and relax in a comfortable and safe atmosphere. Not many people know that a witch is her most vulnerable after prolonged magic use. He guarded me until I could once again defend myself. Many times while I have been away he had touched minds with me in order to make sure I did not need assistence. He is a true friend in every sense of the word.
With a somewhat secretive smile Danann again sipped her coffee. Now. I can only imagine that you as well have many stories to tell. Would you entrall us with one? |

Clearing her throat a bit she touches a golden scale that hangs on a chain on her neck
Dragons are often misunderstood and seldom seen for what they really are - defenders and balancers. I've known several very kind and wonderful Dragons, and Elderkins.
Danann looks to the corner where the young traveler had crept in. Please! Be welcomed! Warm yourself by the fire and join us for a song and drink. I do believe I might beg our dear Jester to take me for a spin on the dancefloor before this night is over, but come, be at ease! I am Danann, and you are? |

{Danann looks to the corner where a cat has gathered close to a person. She smiles and extends her hands}
Lady Dreamer! How are you? How fare you this fine eve? And who is this beautiful cat? A friend of yours? Might I have the priveledge of your aquantence, dear Cat? With a chuckle she looks towards the raven. Looks like Raven has the priorities in order. Good music, good drink and... good company. |

{With a wave of her hands the air is filled with soft music and a soothing feel. The redheaded witch smiles and shifts her green eyes, first to the great dog and the man with the sword, and then to her timely defender)
Be at peace, I mean no harm, and certainly did not mean to cause alarm! Kind sir, please sheath the weapon, before you bring harm to yourself. Sweet defender, I thank you for your aid. Perhaps a drink and a tale will calm everyone? Hamm, my dear sir... how about a round of drinks on this fine eve?
First, a reintroduction might be required? I am Danann, a Seer, healer and high priestess. {briefly Danann touched the tailsman that hung around her neck denoting her rank of Priestess of Danu} And you are... |

Enjoy the festival and tip a pint of Harps near the fountain in memory of me! |

{With a crack of thunder and a flash of light Danann enters the room}
Fair day to you all, I have missed each and all of you! How fare's the souls? I see the Jester has been dancing, and the raven has taken up his perch on the stool of olde. |

I am a bad Danann... man... I am so sorry for letting this go so long.
To answer you... both are right, they are pronounced based on area... like southern dialects and Northern dialects... So, whichever is more comfortable with you is the one you should go with, I personally use is "Cade meela fall-cha" |

I might be too late, do you still need these translated? I'll start working on them. I can give you some of them right off.
I love you - tá grá agam ort Always and Forever - i gcónai agus go deo Honor, Courage, Commitment - onóraigh misneach dhéanfaidh Always Faithful - i gcónai dílis Love, loyalty, friendship - Gra Dilseacht Cairdeas
I'll see if I can get the others too... |

It really depends on the dialect that they are speaking. Normally It sounds like Dia grit... so far as I can tell. But I think Dia Dhuit is acceptable as well. |

The middle section is an insult of some form, that was the closest I could get to the translation, but it's fitting. |

Well, I have solved the mystery!!!!
It translates to "I'm not your donkey/ass, English monster, stick it up your ass!"
That's about as close as I can come, that middle part is what is throwing me... Its some sort of swear I can tell that. Other people say that the middle part says, "and I'm not a thief" But I don't hear that in there. This is what I get for a translation
Ní mise d'asal, ainmhí gallach! Sac suas i do thóin é! |
