I found this on a site that just has weird historical facts, so I'll add more as I find them, but I thought this was strange.

On July 4, 1776, King George III of England noted in his diary: "Nothing of importance happened today."

Why is this one strange?? With no modern communications like we have today, news took four weeks if not longer get across the pond. Maybe it was strange because he HAD a diary!!! king.gif
