| Wishing everyone a Happy 4th! Those of us in America do not live in a perfect country, but is still a country where dreams can be realized and good lives lived! Living on the Navajo Nation, I realize that we have only five Navajo Code Talkers left. I have had the privilege of being friends with several of them. They thought this country was worth saving. So do I! Wherever you may be today and whatever you may be doing, I hope this day for you is blessed! |

| Happy 4th to you, Haynes!! There was a wonderful movie about the Navajo Code Talkers, Windtalkers. At least, I thought it was. It brought a little remembered but absolutely vital part of our history to light. And while you're right in that our country isn't perfect, it's still my country. My constitution. My home. So Happy 4th of July to all our American members. |

| Our parade went well but when it came time for the fireworks we had a real dense fog that covered the field. The stuff that was shot off the nearby mountain/hill only changed the color of the fog. Thankfully the fireworks shot off the field were still fairly visible. Great day otherwise. |
