Ok let's have a little fun. We all are gathered here and connected by our love of celtic music. But why are we such a fan of this music?? What hooks us? Why is it SO special?? Ok let's play a one word game describing your affection for this genre of music. (I know it will be VERY hard to put it in one word but repost as many times as you want!) Want to play? Who's in??
I'll go first: I like Celtic Music so much because it's......Festive!
"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
Hey, that's what I was going to say!!!!!! O.K., how about mood-enhancing? Does that count as one word? (compound)

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
K. Gibran
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
John Muir
"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
It has meaning, its good for the soul and it makes me happy!
With everything going wrong in the world, the hateful music, the forever playing top40, hit or rap - the financial crisis!
Celtic Music represents a break from the greediness that got us into the current financial mess.
Celtic Music is honest, has character and makes you want to dance. What else could you ask for in music! There are also a bunch of wonderful and caring people that play Celtic music. They do not do it for the money, but for the love of the music.
Well, thats our 2 Cents! - great question/post by the way!
