I have been busy here on Georgia's beautiful coast. I have been doing a lot of fishing and soon will be freezing those sweet blue crabs for winter meals. The most important thing is the time I have spent with my grandchildren this summer. School starts back next week. I take them to school each morning. Now that is a real blessing. |

I took two of my granddaughters age 5 & 11 to see Brave. We saw the 3-D version. I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I enjoyed this movie. the granddaughters really enjoyed the movie especially the 3-D effects. I recommend it for all of the family. |

The Democrat Party changed from representing the people under Lyndon Johnson. Since 1962 the Democrat party has steady progressed to a more big government and socialist ideology. The Muslins were given an exemption to Obama Care. That exemption is on page 107 or 170 of Obama Care. Did you know that Obama Care will have access to your bank account, 401-k, IRA and any type of financial instructment that you have. In other words you will loose control of your finances. |

It cotton time here in the Deep South. I am been working with cotton growers for the 2012 cotton crop. I do sneak in for a peak to see what is going on. Oh, yes! I have been taking up a lot of time with grandkids. I take them to school each morning. Now that is a blessing. |

We will be taking our granddaughter to the District 4-H fnals. She won local 4-H competition with the history of the circus. Each time Barnum and Bailey comes to Savannah we go to the circus. We will celebrate St. Patrick's Day later in the day on the coast. Yes, St. Patrick's Day is my birthday and I do have green eyes. I never borrowed money to attend college. I worked one quarter and went to school the following quarter. Yes, it took a little longer to graduate but I graduated debt free. What is wrong with working your way through school. OWS people should try working instead living off of the taxpayer's dime or their parents. |

I have thought that silver was the best precious metal venue for the average investor. I fish on the weekends. My wife does yard sales and estate sales with her best friend. I will inform her to start looking for silver items. Our silver place setting we received on our wedding day 45 years ago is some type of silver. It is Hampton Court and it was expensive in 1966. |

My wife and I are meeting with our financal planner on Friday. I have already moved my investments to a T. Rowe Price conservative fund. My IRA is in a credit union account. My 401-K is in conservative plan. I did that when Obama became President. This move saved me from loosing thousands of dollars. I do not own any gold as an investment. I am 67 and my goal is to protect my investments from the President and Congress. |

Public schools in my county does not teach geography. I send my grandkids to private school and geography is taught there. This semester my grandson had to learn the countries and their capitals in Western and Eastern Europe and locate each country on a map. He is in the 7th grade. I believe the federal government is intending to "dumb down" American children. Look at our public school systems where so many children fail to graduate from high school. |

When I paid my 2009 taxes in April 2010, my accountant said I had to increase my quarterly tax payment to the IRS an additional $1000.00 per quarter. Any person running for any office whether local, state or national that has a D by their name will not get my vote. I am mad. |

If you boycott BP you are destroying the business of a local family. The BP station owned in my community is not owned by BP it is owned locally by a real person that I do business with. |

Let me tell you how illegal immigration has effected my community. I live in a small rural community on Georgia's coast. Illegal aliens have bankrupted our small rurall hospital by using the emergency room as their personal physician. My personal property taxes and the taxes on my home have doubled to pay for this "free care" for illegal aliens. Now the small school system is overcrowded with illegal alien's children. Now my school taxes has doubled to pay for their education. Yes, we have had an increase in crime and drug traffic. It is time to close the borders with U.S. Troops. When in "invasion" is stopped then we can discuss an immigration policy. The world does not have a right to come to America for a better life. |

I understand her frustration. My wife and I were flying and the wire in her bra set off all the alarms at the airport. She was padded down, wanned and the TSA employee wanted to manually frisk her. She told the TSA employee, "are you feeling lucky today"? She was not frisked. We were able to get on the plane. |

Wow! So relevant today. Each morning I take the grandkids to school. We begin the day with prayer then Bible Trivia, on to War Between the States Triva and finish the trip with American History trivia. Patch, I use your quotes from the Founding Fathers. |

With Fox you get both sides and you decide as it should be. That is why on any recent poll Fox "smokes" the competition. You don't see conservatives on the other networks. Just a token Pat Bucannon on "Morning Joe" and maybe a Bill Bennett on CNN. That's it. |

Nice collection. We may have to use those guns. My collection is not that large. We all enjoy guns. My grandson just killed his first deer with his bow. Even the girl grandkids enjoy shooting. |
