To-day I recieved word that a former tenant and friend passed away. William Andrews, age 90, served with the Canadian 1st Division in the Italian Campaign from July 1943 to February 1945. He will be missed.

Sadly that generation will soon be gone. Here, they seem to pass with little note. I have two friends who served in ww2 and sadly both are in failing health.

We had a good Memorial day turn out but it was mostly the 50 and older crowd. The "youngsters" were not well represented.

I am greatly saddned to hear of his passing. My people always take note of passing warriors, and I will pass his name on to the next powwow commitee, he and others will be honored at the veterans dance. We try hard to honor ALL who pass!

Patch; Dogshirt;

Thank you.

Dog Shirt if you would at the veterans dance remember Cpl David Campbell (career military) first of the Black Watch then the 7th Commando and finally of the 48th Royal Tank Regiment, Royal Armoured Corp., 8th British Army, who fought in the North African and Italian Campaigns. Died 5 May 1944. He was my Father.
