I have recently found two types of foreign candy I love. I like the British candy Maltesers (think Whoppers with better chocolate) and the Swiss chocolate bar Milka, which reminds me of Hershey's before they cut the amount of milkfat they used.
What are yours?

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
I recently tried stroopwafels on a flight to Florida. I have had them many times since and they are great. It seems that they are becoming more popular as I see them more and more often in various stores. There are a couple other candies that I like and although Stroopwafels might not be candy they taste like it (just better).
Peanut M&M's have never done me wrong. They have close to a chocolate peanut butter type taste that is not too rich, very filling, and not messy. You can even have fun and throw them up in the air and catch them in your mouth, or throw them into someone else's mouth across the room. Use them to improve dishes, snacks, and trail mix recipes.
Ahh ... one of my big guilty pleasures..... I've held off replying to this post (guilt) but for some reason I feel compelled to confess... I mean..... reply today.
In the past I couldn't wait for the dime from my grandmother to get candy after going to church and then on to the the Drugstore every Sunday. Ahhh SUGAR! (they had great original vanilla cokes there too by the way that I would go with my pals for as I got older)
All time favorite: the Giant Pixy Sticks that were about 2 feet long! I would fill my mouth to the so much that when I tried to talk a puff of smoke/powder would leave my mouth. And then you would laugh and look out!
Razzles, Sweet Tarts, Sprees, Necco Waffers were great and the candy cigarettes were always fun and tasty. Candy bars: $100,000 Bar, Snickers, Sky Bar - 4 different fillings! Worst: Wax Lips. Would get them for to 10 seconds of fun, but it tasted like.... yup WAX!
Surprised I'm still alive. Changed my ways..... for the most part......
To this day there is an Apple Orchard we go to on occasion that has a great "Penny Candy" section. Yup we fill a bag. Been seen leaving with a candy cig hanging out of the side of my mouth.
And to this day I can't resist a Recess Peanut Butter cup. Always buy enough at Halloween to make sure there is extra. Mmmmm....good!
