Channel/Website Down, Bandwidth Limited

Our apologies, as of early this morning our bandwidth provider has been experiencing some issues effecting our music operations. In specific a number of channels and different ways to listen are not currently working.

This is effecting listening on Highlander Radio and at times Celt Rock Radio. We hope to have the issues cleared up soon.

Because of the increasing traffic to our website and channels, we are upgrading our bandwidth on Wednesday. We may be down for a portion of the day as some new hardware is installed.

Again, our apologies, we hope in a few days to be back up 100%.

Thanks for the heads up! Wow, I was just getting ready to throw my computer out the door. Whew that was close.

We had a tough few days, but we are back up and online.

There was definitely an issue with bandwidth the past few days and it makes you wonder if it was some how related to the troubles Woods Hole was having in the news which we are really not that far away from.

Actually, we are going to hold off on the upgrade because of costs. Hopefully we will figure out the best mix between Live365 and Independent streaming next year.

We plan on doing our first survey before the end of the year to figure out how everyone listens so we can try and tailor our streaming to fit most peoples listening preference and hopefully save on cost. Then maybe go for the upgrade. We are always on Life Support here!
