With all the howls of protest from Democrats today about the vote tonight on Iraq you have to wonder what it is they really want. Do they even know?

So it would appear that "when push comes to shove" only three Democrats were willing to "put their money were their mouth is". The three: Jose Serrano of New York, Robert Wexler of Florida and Cynthia McKinney of Georgia. Six members of the Communist wing of the Democrat party voted "present". They were: Jim McDermott of Washington; Jerrold Nadler, Maurice Hinchey and Major Owens of New York; Michael Capuano of Massachusetts and William Lacy Clay of Missouri.

Apparently Congressman Murtha wasn't willing to "walk the walk" (note to Mr. Murtha: You may want to alter your plans for November 10, 2006. I suspect you will receive a chilly welcome at any Marine Corp Birthday Celebration you might have planed to attend).

In order for the Dems to get behind Iraq, the would have to do an about-face from what has been a flaming persecution of President Bush. They have already done one about face, as has been thoroughly reported in this forum. I think they are simply trying not to get dizzy and fall down. ; )

Perhaps a poll came out just before the vote that more accurately reflected the general public's support for our actions in iraq. What a tough decision for our friends on the left. wacko.gif

I find it ironic that even the "New Iraqie " government is telling us to get the hell out and let them find there own nitch!

Our time is up, bring our boys home, we are not wanted there anymore!
