I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone here in the Celtic Radio community a very happy and thankful Thanksgiving Holiday. After the meal is prepared and consumed, the kitchen cleaned and the left-overs put away, the last family member has left for home with the prayers of a safe journey. When the last football game is played and the "good dishes" put up, please join me in that last drink and a few moments to reflect on all that we are thankful for this day. As we prepare for sleep, let us do so with the hope and faith of true thanks giving...
GOD bless us all..............slainte mhath

I want to add my best wishes for the holiday, too. A day dedicated to being thankful for all things and people in our lives is a wondrous occasion. All the best to my Celtic Radio friends!

I am thankful that the Native Americans ( Nov. is Native American month ) did not run us refugees from other countries out of North America when we arrived on these shores looking for a better life and freedom.

Thanks for starting this thread and keeping alive the spirit of Thanksgiving! Very nice thanksgiving here for us with family, friends and animals! Always have a plate for our two fur footed friends!
We always make up a bowl for "Satchel" with a little bit of something from most everything on the table and cover it with extra gravy and meat scrapes. Now that the season of giving thanks for receiving the bounty provided by nature and the toils we endure to coax it from the earth is passing, it is time to start giving spiritual thanks for all else in our lives...slainte mhath
