My wife can trace her heritage back to one of three brothers who fought for the Jacobites at Culloden.
Me, I can go back 4 generations and in that time I have a bootlegger during prohibition, are member of the KKK and the victim of an unsolved murder. Why on Earth would I want to keep digging? |

I am happy to report that the Celtic Fest Ohio is back and scheduled for Saturday, June 15th. There will be plenty of attractions, activities, antics, and alcohol to enjoy. Come enjoy the "Shamrock Shenanigans," whiskey tastings, Celtic music and dance, and the best "Taste of the Isles" this side of... well, the Isles. Do comments posted on the Mobile Site "Social Hall" count as a post for the contest? We few dwellers in the Social Hall feel *pause for dramatic sigh* Deeply wounded. Not really, just wanting to check to be sure.
Thanks |

What a pity. If the mobile Social Hall posts did count, I would probably be an archduke by now (or some other high brow title). Oh well, I guess I will languish in my peasantdom. |

I agree with the others, asking me to name my favorite Celtic Radio channel is almost as hard as asking me to name my favorite child.
I have enjoyed each of them at various times and in various moods.
If you ever plan to expand your channel selection, I would suggest considering a channel dedicated to sacred Celtic music. Perhaps one channel for Christian music and another for ancient Celtic/pagan worship. |

Celtic Fest Ohio 2021 is Saturday, 19 June. Sorry for the late notice, but honestly, I am not connected this festival in any way other than as an attendee.

Greetings from Columbus, OH. Hoping everyone is staying safe and trying to maintain at least a small vestige of sanity.
Thank you Celtic Radio. My vacation travel this year has been located on a secluded, historic (old) cellar pad overlooking the pristine sea of asphalt that is the parking lot for the funeral home next door. However, with a Glencairn filled with whiskey, a fine cigar, and Celtic Radio music in the background, I am transported to a wee castle in remote Ireland (or Scotland depending on the whiskey).
Thanks again Celtic Radio.
