Here is the link for our Arizona Renn fest. We have terrific weather and lots of things going on and lots of fun. Maybe see some of you there?

I would love to come to this someday. It looks great. This is not meant to sound awful, but when our old dogs our gone, hubby and I plan on making some trips. We have been stuck at home for the last 2 years.

Oh I understand, Valpal. It is hard when you have animals and have to worry about their care and how long to be gone without them. I plan to always have dogs, so I guess I won't be doing any long term traveling!

This is a really good event. I have been to it several times and my plans are to attend the opening on February 10th. If I do and get some pics, will post them in here for you all to see. smile.gif

As some of you know, I attended our AZ Ren Fest last Saturday. It has really grown and I could not see every thing in one day. I had planned to go today but it didn't work out. I will try to return before the 8 weeks of the event are up. I understand it is one of the largest Ren faires in the country now...wow! I would say the major pain was all the freakin construction AZ is doing on their roads which made it so difficult to get too. There were several traffic jams and took us hours to get both there and out of there. It was extremely frustrating to me.

I used to attend one in southern California every year many years ago. Anyone know if that one is still going on and where?

Thanks! smile.gif

Do any of y'all know if Utah has a Renaissance Faire? I loved going to the one outside Houston as a child, I would love to take my own children to one. And maybe the husband, too. wink.gif just kidding.

Hello Nara,

I did a google search for Utah Renaissance Faires and came up with below. Hope this helps.

http://www.umrf.net/

Our annual Arizona Renn Faire starts next weekend, February 9 through March 30th, 2008. Here is the link below for any of you interested in going.

Tartanic will be performing again this year. I really enjoyed them last year. Really nice guys too, who allowed me to take tons of photos of them! wink.gif

Thanks, Celtic Rose. I found another link for any that are interested. The Faire that Rose's link is to one in the southern part of Utah. For those of us in the arctic north of Utah wink.gif here is a link for one in our area. It is only in it's third year, and I've never been, so I'm not sure how developed it is. However, we'll go and have a grand time... Here is the link:

[COLOR=DarkGreen][B] I work at the AZ Ren Faire in a costume shoppe. Its fun to work but also sometimes hard to see everything and participate. I hope to at least attend a pleasure feast next run!
