The Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies World Series might produce more than just another baseball game. If the Red Sox win expect to see Lord Papelbon dancing the Irish Jig on the Fenway Park field with his Lord of the Dance show! Jonathan Robert Papelbon (born November 23, 1980 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is the closer for the Boston Red Sox. He bats and throws right-handed. He also does a mean Irish Jig!

Reliever Mike Timlin for the Red Sox introduced Lord Papelbon to the Boston Faithful, “I know a lot of you guys witnessed what he did the last time. You want to see it again?”

Many of the Red Sox players and kids joined his teammates on the field for the Irish Jig and with the DropKick Murphy’s playing the national anthem as well as their quintessential Fenway tune, “Tessie” and their big hit, “Shipping Up to Boston,” joined the post-game party on the field.

You tube is featuring a video of the post game show which is expected to repeat if the Red Sox win again. to view the full video and Red Sox History in the making!
