The Celtic music scene is not exactly associated with Eastern Europe, but as they say, the best things often come from the most unlikely places.

Per Kelt is a group of award-winning musicians hailing from the Czech Republic and Honolulu Hawai'i. Their music embraces the spirit of Celtic folk, yet these artists are not afraid to branch out, developing a fast, progressive and flamboyant approach to their performances - an approach that translates into spectacular live shows and dropping jaws within the audience!

The band's reputation as an incendiary live act allowed them to tour extensively throughout the world, with over 400 gigs in support of their three well received studio albums. They most recently won "Best Live Act of the Year in the UK" for the 2014 Exposure Music Awards, given by judging members of the UK Music Industry.

Per Kelt performs as a duo or as a trio; the latter setting enjoying an extra layer of rhythm and percussions. On their studio recording “Dowry of a Troll Woman”, the band excels at creating compelling folk moods. The sound of the guitar often creates the “skin and bones”, the main skeleton of the songs, dictating the pace, the groove and the feel, enhanced by the percussion and by extra textures created by vocals, harp or flute.

Per Kelt is a great example of how even a small line up can achieve sonic depths larger than the sum of their elements! 5 Stars from Celtic Radio!
