C'mon, people... if you're trying to convince others how good a group is, link some of their music. Most (if not all) artists will have samples available somewhere on their website.
Other, such as these guys, have full songs available. smile.gif

Comments: All you need to know is: If it's Poor Angus.. you must buy.

In all seriousness though, like the last reviewer said, the instrumentals and vocals are what make this album great.

The Bagpipes and Fiddle are first class. About half the compositions on the album are originals, and the jigs are second to none. The fiddle solo at the end of the Kesh Jig is my favorite.

That being said, their harmonies can make you forget that on some pieces there aren't any instrumentals at all. Their interpretation of Sam Hall is one of the best out there. Trust me, it's that good.

You can't go wrong with these guys.

Comments: I just bought this stellar album on i-tunes. EXCELLENT! These guys have amazing harmonies, and add in a mix of trad instruments like bagpipes, whistles, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and such; and they package it in what can only be described as a great fusion. Some of the material is east coast, some is Irish, some Scottish, but all of it is great. My favorite is Slackers' Jig, an original.
