This amazing exhibit allows guests to get up close and personal to the artistry
and craftsmanship that went into creating the iconic props and customs that
appeared throughout the
films. These authentic artifacts will be displayed in elaborate settings
inspired by locations from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry including
the Gryffindor common room, Hagrid's hut and the Great Hall.
The tour stars with an introduction to Harry Potter and the sorting hat. Small
children should immediately get a space as close as possible to the front and
the English speaking actress. When she asks "who would like to be sorted", make
sure your child quickly raises their hand. Three lucky children will have the
chance to be sorted by the hat to find out their house! A grand introduction to the exhibit occurs shortly after the sorting when the
huge double exhibit doors both open to reveal an HD standing theater with about
12 screens playing an overview of the entire Harry Potter film series.
Spectacular sound effects and visuals.
Once the movie series completes the excitement continues as another set of doors
opens to a night time scene with a tour guide waving a lantern and leading you
on through a smoke filled train station and a full scale prop of the train
getting ready to leave for Hogwarts. The next part of the walking tour consists
of the many different scenes and customs of the movie. Exquisite details and
thousands of props from the movie in stands, tables, bedrooms, walls and more.
See Harry, Ron and Hermione's Clothing, Wands, letters and artifacts. Gaze at
Harry Potter's bedroom scene or Snakes laboratory with bubbling contraptions of
wizardly potions. Try your hand at the
gaming display and view all of the uniforms from the Quidditch world cup and
more. Or visit the Herbology classroom and pull a mandrake out of the dirt to
hear them scream! Words could never describe the details of this beautiful
exhibit which will leave you with the impression of actually visiting the
hallowed halls of Hogwarts and walking the set of Harry Potter.
A magical surprise in the middle of the exhibit is Hagrid's Hut containing his
full dress (he must be a giant of a man), sit in his chair and watch the dragon
egg try and
The hut marks the transition to the dark forbidden forest and the spider,
centurions and more. The darkness turns into the evil characters of Harry Potter
including Malfour, death eaters, dementors, witches and the one we must not mention. So
fine is the detail that looking at the sky within the exhibit reveals a moving ghostly cloud
image. The tour takes a walk down a long hallway of newspaper articles
warning of impending doom and of the news that serious black is on the loose!
The exhibit takes a lighter turn into the hall of pictures that actually talk
and finally the doors of the great hall lead you into the grand finale with
candles floating above and the beautiful Dumbledore's customs and more. A
towering cathedral stain glass framed in arcing stone backdrops the end of the
exhibit and leaves you wondering how many people where involved in moving and
constructing all of the exhibits in this marvelous tour into the world of Harry
Potter! The final room we will leave as a surprise, but it is a fitting end to this wonderful exhibit. Mingle in the gift store at the end of the exhibit and browse through
the hundreds of items for sale.
This is a once in a lifetime exhibit that you must see to believe. What is truly
amazing is the amount of work, time and craftsmanship that went into compiling
this tremendous outpouring of Harry Potter for the fans to enjoy and experience
for themselves the magic of Harry Potter. Don't miss out on the
before it returns to England forever!
