November 8, 2007 - CelticRadio.net - Celtic rock band Seven Nations teams up with OarFin Distribution to release their new album A Celtic Tribute To The Cure. The tribute is set to be released November 13th. The album is made up of 10 Cure tracks including fan favorites “Friday I’m In Love” and “Boy Don’t Cry.”

Seven Nations front man Kirk McLeod was approached about creating a tribute album after he recorded “Boys Don’t Cry” for his album So’ Piano. “This new CD gave me an opportunity to work with artists from other bands we've played with through the years,” said McLeod. “A Tribute to the Cure is the result of that collaboration. It has many of my favorite Cure tunes, and I hope they are yours too.”

Seven Nations has been playing Celtic rock together since 1993 and since then have toured almost all 50 states, Canada and Europe. The band has performed their own PBS special “An Evening with Seven Nations”. They have also been asked to perform at many popular events, their largest being the Torch Lighting ceremony at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Seven Nations are currently working on a new album and are touring the East Coast.

Celtic Radio Comments:
Another great album by one of our favorite Celtic Rock Groups - Seven Nations! We loved "A Celtic Tribute to the Cure" - it is one of those CDs that you have to pick up and hear. Even if you have never heard of the Cure, the way Seven Nations has interpreted and arranged the songs is just fantastic! 5 Celtic Radio Golden Stars for the premier Celtic Rock group - Seven Nations!
