When you think of four guys between the ages of 18 and 21 playing music, your first thought usually isnít of Celtic rock and bagpipes. Throw in the fact that these guys are from Nashville, and things only become more interesting. Enter Slide Show Baby, the explanation for these musical anomalies. This talented, young band effectively mixes pop, punk, folk and Celtic rock to create an exciting new sound. High-energy songs and inventive instrumentals prove that the group, though only recently-formed, is anything but amateur.
With gifted musicians and a wide array of instruments, Slide Show Baby is set to make an impact on the current state of music. Lead singer/songwriter Will MacMorran displays his versatility by playing everything from guitar and bagpipes to bouzouki, whistles, and button accordion. If that isnít enough to impress you, fellow band member Victor Gagnon also plays fiddle and mandolin, in addition to singing harmony and lead vocals on occasion.
