The Scrying Pool – 177 viewsThis album is a vision of things past and those yet to come. Is life finite, or eternal and circular? Are we at the mercy of time and fate? The answers are all here in 'The Scrying Pool'...

Fans often tell us that they would like to know more about the Legend of Serundal, and so we have begun work on a trilogy which will tell this magical tale through our music. Here then is Part One..

In the beginning, in the regions to the North there was a land known to all as the Kingdom of Roth. It was ruled by the fair and just Asyndwr, Lord of Roth and his beautiful wife Elene whom he loved more dearly than life itself. For many years it was a peaceful happy place until a great darkness fell upon the people when Elene became stricken by, and eventually died from a strange illness. Then everything changed, Asyndwr became bitter and his anger grew inside him. And because of this, all happiness ceased to exist in the Kingdom of Roth. Even his daughter, Baibre did not escape his wrath.
And so it was that she and her beloved fled from her father’s house to the clearing in the forest which was the gateway to the otherworld known as Serundal. Taking pity upon them, the fairy Queen Mariana took them in and there they would remain for all eternity.
When her father heard of this, his screams could be heard far and wide and to avenge this wrongdoing he pledged his soul to the evil hag Malkin who was soon to cast a spell which would awaken such an evil the like of which had not been seen for a thousand years.
Only Serundal could save the people now…

Moonstone – 95 viewsExposed to the light, moonstone the gem has many colours. From a distance it is ordinary, but only when you look closely can you ever hope to see the full extent of its extraordinary beauty. In the same way, this album cannot be judged on face value. You will need to hear it again and again before you can realise the full force of its visionary power. Awesome
