[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=7][FONT=Arial]If any of my CelticRadio friends can help me, I will be eternally grateful!

I have fallen in love with the Christmas piece "Don oíche úd i mBeithil" and would like to sing it in our church at Christmas. Can anyone help me with pronunciation of the lyrics? It would have to be phonetic since my knowledge of Irish Gaelic is zero. I wish to honor my mother by singing this song.

The lyrics are:

Don oíche úd i mBeithil, beidh tagairt faoi ar ghréin go brách;
Don oíche úd i mBeithil go dtáinig an Bhréithir slán;
Tá gríosghrua ar spéarthaibh 's an talamh 'na chlúdach bán;
Féach Iosagán sa chléibhín, 's an Mhaighdeán ' A dhiúl le grá.

Ar leacain lom an tsléibhe go nglacann na haoirí scóth;
Nuair in oscailt ghil na spéire tá teachtaire Dé ar fáil;
Céad glóire anois do Athair i bhFlaitheasaibh thuas go hard!
Is feasta fós ar thalamh d'fhearaibh dea-mhéin síocháin!

I have the song on a Chieftans CD and an Iona CD, so I can hear the lyrics, but it moves so fast I don't think I can learn it that way!

This has made me want to try learning Irish Gaelic, but that will take a long time, and I am needing the pronunciation soon enough to learn by beginning of December.

Many, many thanks - -
