Darlin' ye knaw thar be but twa kinds o' problems! Thar be th' ones ye can dae sumt'in' aboot, an' thar be th' ones ye canna dae anythin' aboot! Af ye can dae sumthin' , dae it an dinna worry! Af ye canna dae do sumthin' aboot it, then tis in the hands o' th' Creator an' worryin' willna dae ye any guid! Tis a simple thin' tae say, but can be MUCKLE hard tae learn! Once ye learn it though, tis muckle easier tae handle th' anxiety! Thar be nae reason tae worry, just dae wha' ye CAN!
But knaw tha' me thoughts are wi' ye!

Just stay brave, Rose and keep your faith. Once they have started to work on you you will feel better; the thoughts before are worse than the "action" and treatment following!
Thank you for your concern; I'm lucky that finally the tests results were not too bad. I have to see the docs frequently but right now everything seems ok again.

You go girl!!! smile.gif

QUOTE (CelticRose @ 28-Aug-2006, 06:48 PM)

It is always scary when you have scary things happen to you, but then have to go to a whole new doctor/practice makes me all the more anxious. I fear they will minimize everything and send me home as a hysterical woman! Women get this a lot!

No, no, honey -- that would be all wrong to do that, and nobody who knew what they were doing would do that to you. It's very scary, and the procedures are intimidating at first. But it sounds like you've got a good team, and they know that the strongest part of the treatment is making a warm, solid partnership with you. hug.gif

You just keep taking it one day at a time. And maybe you should take that trip up to Washington to visit Dogshirt and all his canine friends -- that sounds like fabulous therapy to me! biggrin.gif

Gabby, if you need someone to talk to, I am here for you. You know where to find me. but you are so right. Once the docs start working on you, you do feel better.

I had my biopsy yesterday. Well may I say I had never experienced so much pain my life? I know that sounds really dramatic, but the nurse practitioner could tell I was feeling everything she was doing and I wasn't supposed to cause the drugs didn't help. Man! I just wanted to kick her in the face and tell her to stop! Anyway, I will know in a week to 10 days what is going on or what is to happen.

My friend who has Hep C, I try to comfort her,but she still is freaking out till she sees a doctor...can you blame her? I told her CarolinaScotsman what you said. Hopefully, she will get positive results when she sees her doc.

Many thanks all for your prayers and concern..take care and hugs

Rose, may you be enveloped in peace and the love of the Father, of family and friends. Remember, God is in control.
