A happy fourth of July to everyone in the United States. And to those that didn't get a chance to see a spectacular fireworks show, then we have a special CelticRadio.net fireworks show just for you!

Please take a moment today to honor our troops serving overseas today.

Everyone have a safe and happy holiday!

Just wanted to wish you all a very Happy 4th of July! Any special plans? Is it legal to have fireworks where you live? It is where I am and wouldn't you know I don't have any. We did get some rain last night so hope it will help with the fires. I imagine I will go watch a public display-planning on watermelon and steak off the grill. Well have a good Holiday!

Please take a moment today to honor our troops serving overseas today. There is a website were you can send a message to one of our soldiers.

If anyone knows of a like website for U.K. soldiers, please post it here. Thanks.

Everyone have a safe and happy holiday!

Thanks for the fireworks display Macfive!!

Here's some thoughts on freedom from the former Senator and Govenor of Georgia, Zell Miller, for your consideration as we celebrate our country's birthday!

"Never in the history of the world has any soldier sacrificed more for the freedom and liberty of total strangers than the American soldier.

And, our soldiers don't just give freedom abroad, they preserve it for us here at home.

For it has been said so truthfully that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the agitator, who has given us the freedom to protest.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives that protester the freedom he abuses to burn that flag."

Hey All!!! In Massachusetts, Fireworks are illegal, except at a controlled setting or venue. Many people go up to New Hampshire and get illegal fireworks, and in many of the neighborhoods around my house, people shoot them of porches an decks.

There is, however a big display toight in conjunction with a concert, that typically draws 1000=+ people.

I hope it doesn't get cancelled because of rain!!!!!

Wow...what a busy day yesterday was. Played Liberty Bell March by Sousa in a parade, met with some local geocachers for the afternoon and then off to go play a roughly 2 hour concert before the big fireworks display in a neighboring town. It's just good to be back at boring old work again. Maybe I can catch a nap at break time.

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend and didn't blow themselves up!
