Only in Scotland........ there were two bands called Burach, the first were 4 young lads from Sutherland, they recorded and released an independant cassette "first attempt". Shortly after its release (local release - through gigs and a few shops in the far North) the "other" Burach (Edinburgh based ?) began to get national press coverage, as a result the little Burach had to change thier name, they now exist as "Febus" led by the wild fiddle monster that is Jamie Locheart. So if you come across Febus you know a little background.
Burach means - screw up -
All the best

Worth a listen, a Scottish band which includes Sandy Brechin, demon accordionist!

Hear them at their website.

Hi Skiannach!

Thanks for taking the time to suggest a group for Highlander Radio. We are going to visit their site and give a listen to their music. It looks like they offer a few downloads of their music and if it falls within the type of music we play at Highlander Radio, we will be sure to add them!
