Did you ever think we would announce our April CD contest results! Better late than never. It's been a tough month with the whole reconfiguration of our network, but thats behind us and now we can continue with the fun stuff!
First and foremost we have our Celtic Radio Founder's Mega-Giveaway contest which includes the follow prizes for one lucky Founder member:
Danny Ray Cole's Irish Fun CD
Ceann's Almost Irish CD
Tommy Byrnes Alehouse Insurrections CD
Tommy Byrnes Celtic Magnet Button
Stone Soup Band's The Enchanter CD
Stone Soup Band's Celtic T-Shirt
Highlander Radio T-Shirt
One mistake we made. Unfortunately, we accidentally gave away the Ceann's Almost Irish CD in our St. Patrick's Day contest. A slight administrative error. We will substitute it with another like CD. Our apologies.
And now the Celtic Radio Founder Club member to receive all of these goodies!

While we are not having a May CD contest because of all of the work and reconfiguration of our computer servers and network, we are going to double up and have alot of CDs to giveaway for June. Currently we are sitting ontop of over 70 CDs, so we might even give some CDs away "on the spot" with the return of our instant CD contests.
Congratulations to all the winners. I hope you will enjoy your prizes. I know I have when I was lucky enough to win. Where else can you listen to great music, meet new friends AND win goodies? Wow! What a station!
Thank you so much!! Looking forward to listening to my new CD, "Posing as Human" by Rise. This is not a band I am familiar with so it will be a surprise. It's always great to hear new celtic music....thanks again CR.

WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools. -- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)
Thank you so much!! Looking forward to listening to my new CD, "Posing as Human" by Rise. This is not a band I am familiar with so it will be a surprise. It's always great to hear new celtic music....thanks again CR.

It's a very good CD. I won it over a year ago.
BTW, when I won it, I put it in my old computer to copy it onto my iTunes. I had my iTunes set up to automatically retrieve the album info from CDDB. "Posing As Human" was so obscure, CDDB didn't have it in their database. I entered the information manually and uploaded it to their database.
If you are familiar with late 70's or early 80's country music, you may recognize one of the tracks on it, "Love At The Five And Dime".
