Hello to Everyone,

This is a wonderful site. I live in Utah Vally north of Sanpete County.

Have been doing genealogy lately and have come across both Scot (Moore) and Irish (McCormick) ancestors. John McCormick was my granfather and his mother was a McGettigan.

Guess that might help to explain why my heart has always leaped with excitement when I've heard the pipes from either Ireland or Scotland. I'm told that you either love the pipes or hate the sound of them.

Well enough of my ramblings.

Glad to have found this place. I look forward to learning more about this part of my heritage.

By the way, I just found the McCormick coat of arms (see my avatar). The words below the shield say "Sine Timore". Does that translate into "Without Fear"?

Thanks.

I hope that you will enjoy your stay with us, and that you will come back and visit with us often. I feel quite certain that you will grow to love the place as much as I have.

Welcome to the family, my friend!
