CR..you're right, it is Jamesie, not Jamie. I got him confused with Jamie from Diana Gabaldon's Highland series. rolleyes.gif I like the description of Jamie in the Highland series too!! tongue.gif

Glad to hear that they each find their own soul mate in Ms. Moning's books! wink.gif

Yes BGL - let us know how you like them.

And don't forget - Spell of the Highlander comes out as Paperback on May 30th. Can't wait to get it into my collection. I read it when it came out as Hardcover which I got from the library but I buy only Paperback due to the military moves. Less weight - since we have a weightlimit which we can't exceed unless we want to pay big bucks for the overweight.

I can see how you got Jamie and Jamesie mixed up. It must be a pretty common name in Scotland...well at least with certain authors. Diana Gabaldon's book has a Jamie and the Scottish band, Albannach, has one of their drummers as Jamesie.

Monarch! How the heck are you? Is hubby home with you now...for good?!

Hi CR and Monarch...

Haven't had a chance to get any of the books yet, hope to soon. However, while in Gatllinburg last weekend for the Scottish games, I did get to see Jamesie and the rest of ALBANNACH. biggrin.gif

Hi CR....Gatlinburg was really enjoyable even tho the weather was rainy. But on the positive side, the temps were in the low 70's, which is ideal for a festival. ALBANNACH was terrific, as I would expect!! biggrin.gif There was a young lad (9 maybe?) dressed in their tartan who played his own drums on the sideline. He was adorable. During the show, Jamesie brought him on stage and the lad played right along with them. His parents are friends of the band from what I understand. A future ALBANNACH member in the making? tongue.gif Jamesie had better watch out, for the lad will be a real charmer!! wink.gif We will be going to the GLasgow games on June 3rd with the whole family. It will be their first time although they have seen my videos of last years games so they are already ALBANNACH fans and looking forward to seeing them in person.

YUMMY - it's all I can say. Who can resist any of these hunky Highlanders?

I can't wait for KMM new book. Guess I will be reading the series again soon. Read a few days ago the first one - Beyond the Highland Mist. Hard to decide Hawk, Adam or Grimm. I think I would go for Grimm still but it's really hard to decide. LOL
