My daughter has a puppy that finally fits in her family and with her two cats. I didn't think I'd like a miniature dachsund but Princess Sophia Loren is funny has heck and wonderful with my girls 4 kids! She even plays well and isn't too terribly afraid of my Monter Mathilda Peabody!

I vote none of these dogs, even though I have never met a dog I did not love. I have a puppy Jack Russel Terrier named "Giles" Let me tell you he has all kinds of energy but I would not have it any other way. I also want to get a Bernez mountain dog. Polar opposite of Giles but I really want a big dog as well.

I would agree totally, Maisky!

Peckery, I have friends who used to have a Keeshound and she was truly a very smart and wonderful dog! She was very spoilt though. Hard not to spoil them! And they are tons of fur, like my Shelties! wink.gif biggrin.gif

Yes the Keeshounds are easy to spoil. They are cute and know it. I have had a sheltie about 20 years ago. His name was Fred. He was a good boy.

My favourite has got to be the black labrador. I just got myself a four 1/2 year old **TOS VIOLATION** named Teal (Kennel name is Housty Inky Muffin!!!!!) She is the best biggrin.gif So well trained, obedient and she loooves her cuddles biggrin.gif The other thing she likes is going nose to nose with our hamster and staring at our snakes when they wriggle around (in their vivariums of course!!) She is so inquisitive, her ears prick up and she gets that "puppy look" when she sees them. Its as if she`s saying .. "Why don`t you come out and play with me" biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
