I know this might cliche in this group, but I would want to make a documentary about a small village in Ireland - how they live, relax, interact, etc. A really in depth look at rural Irish life.

What if your best friend (of over 30 years) just stops getting in touch? They answer maybe 1 out of 4 emails you send and everything seems fine at their end. Are you being taken for granted and should you be on the lookout for a new best friend? unsure.gif

I would try to keep in touch. Everything may seem fine with her but such a change suggests that there is something going on that she may just need to work through on her own now but may need help and support later. Or it could be like my sister who only got 1 in 4 e-mails for a while for some reason. She wanted to keep in touch but couldn't.

What if you could give one piece of advice to all people, what would it be?

God then made man. The Italians for their beauty. The French for their cuisine. The Welsh for their voices. The Germans for their cars. And on and on until He looked at what He had created and said, "This is all very well, but no-one is having fun. I'll have to make an Irishman."

To find real peace and contentment through Jesus Christ. Religion causes more problems than it solves, but the relationship with Christ makes even those things hard to understand tolerable.

What if you were fired from your job today? Would you take some time off or seek something new right away?

Oh well, I had this experience not long ago; I was trying hard to get a new job asap but due the German economy and my "old" age for the job market it took me quite a while to find one. Fortunatly I found a great one so all is well that ends well... wink.gif

What if you had to change your car which kind would you choose?

Since I've been in both countries I'll answer in all honesty by saying Scotland because that was the destination that I wanted to go before anywhere else for the simple reason that it is the land of my husband's ancestors. And I read I don't know how many books about its history and geography that I was driving the husband nuts about the fact that I wanted to go and see with my own eyes.

What if you could be in a star ship which planet would you like to explore?

For the homeless people here in Montreal they just don't get enough help to my taste and the number of homeless people is growing too fast and they are much too young to be on the street.

What if you had the choice between living in a space station or living on the moon for a year.Which one would it be and why?

Tough choice, but I think it would be the moon. The opportunity to explore it intrigues me as well as having some form of gravity.

What if you could invent one thing that would be of great benefit, whether to the world or you personally, what would you like to make?

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

I think I would take the family and just travel. Some of it would be to see family, some would be to just see the sites!

Yes. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" I have faith in my Lord and Savior to sustain me and my family through any hardships or changes that may come my way - even a change in the world as we know it.
