I picked dressage because that ususally leads into jumping.
:p

I used to love western. But I got bored! We used to drive too. We have a vis-a-vis. Took it in a bunch of parades. So much fun!!

Went to a rodeo the other day. It was so cold, we didn't stay for the bull riding. I think most of us enjoyed the calf roping though.

Hey the couch seat is the best!!   (d)

I was quite good in dressage and jumping and then I decided to try on western.. which lead me into reining.

::viking I know when the breed was controled the the Nespa (sp?) tribes, it was a very different breed. In the 50's, if one found it's way down to Naviaho (sp?) Land it was highly prized, it was usually on without spots. For some reason, the white man started breeding them to Quarter horses. There is a movement in the States to bring back the orginal qualitys that the indidans' prized, the main trait they are looking for is the indian shuffel. They are calling this  seprate breed Tiger Horse.   Then there is the POAs that is founded on an Appy/Sheltland cross.
Moca Fudge is breed to, a beautful white with pearl grey spots, POA. Every 1 of his babys, I saw in the field, the day we went to get pony, for  us, had spots. One of the neatest colors, I saw, was on the colt, out of a full Halflinger mare.  He was Palameno with a rump blanket with gold spots.
