Hey Macfive...if we wanted to request a song be added to the playlist how do we go about that? I'd love to have Flower of Scotland by Alex Beaton added in or even a few other songs by the Brobdingnagian Bards?? Just thought I'd ask...

Thanks!

We receive a steady stream of new music from Celtic musicians. We also will occasional make a purchase of new material ourselves - because we are licensed through Live365 we can do this.

One way in which listeners can help is by donating CDs. Again, we can do this because we are licensed to play any music on our broadcast - as long as it falls under one of the major labels. If it is an independent musician we really should have their permission (non-label).

I don't want to promote burning copies of a CD though. Thats a no-no! You must send us an original copy of the recording and we maintain that original copy in case we ever got audited, etc.

In fact, a listener is sending us a check to purchase John Burgess CD (Legendary Scottish Piper who recently passed away).

Send us an email if you wish to donate a CD and we will send you are mailing address.

Ok..this sounds easy enough...Macfive - do we actually send you the cd or do we send in a donation for you to purchase the cd?

I also note some Flogging Molly on...Great stuff! I met them when they were last here in AZ...they are alot of fun! Good music too!!

Thanks

Either one is find. Original CD or $$$ to purchase the CD with the details on where to buy it.

I am going to add some code to the site so that if you purchase a CD for us we will have a special "Donated by {membername}" on our main page when that song is playing. The membername will link to your profile.

If you want to be anonymous, then just let us know.
