There is a great Welsh Christian singer who sings in Welsh. Her voice is so clear and pleasant. All her songs carry Christian messages. Please take a look at her website. You can sample her songs too. The words are availabe to those who are interested:

Elise Gwilym :

There is another group which started last year called 'Manna.' It's made up of three Welsh young guys and one from Alabama. They released their first CD last year and trying to raise fund for thier second CD. I don't have details yet. I'll post when I know them.

Welshmen and an Alabamian?? Wow, that ought to be a cool combination! laugh.gif

I am always glad to see suggestions of new music to listen too... never can tell when from someone's recommendation I'll find a new singer or band that knocks my socks off. Like a couple of months ago, my husband brought home this cd called 'Youth' by a band called Collective Soul. They'd been popular 4 or 5 years ago, but I didn't expect to like the new album the way I did. I'm so crazy about it, I listen to it whenever I'm in the studio!

Poor hubby, he may have to get another copy of Youth.

"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king..."
