Have you read any of J.D. Robb's books? I have, and love them.

lol.gif Silly me, I love Nora Roberts' books, but up until about 6 months ago, avoided her "alter ego" totally.
I just didn't think I'd like them, then I saw them at the UBS I volunteer at and bought several, but the one that really hooked me was "Remember When" which combined Nora and J.D. in one book/story.

Anyway, I didn't see the topic on here and even though I did look in some of the authors topics, I might have missed them...so my apologies if I missed seeing them and am rehashing an old subject....

Hey Lil! I have seen a lot of J.D. Robb books out there and knew she was Nora Roberts as well, but I have never read any of her books. What kind of books does she write under the name of J.D. Robb?

I have several Nora Roberts' books, but they are all about Ireland or Scotland and I haven't even read those yet. rolleyes.gif

Thanks for bringing this topic up! smile.gif

Heehee, oh goody...a new person to convert, lol!

Ok, JD Robb writes about a lady cop in the year 2059 in NYC.
Her name is Eve Dallas, and she's one tough cookie. Lol, I don't want to sound like a reviewer or something, they're kind of mysteries, but kind of not., lol, I will have to try and find a synopsis.
I actually am still tring to find the very first one, but I love these books.

The first one is, "Naked In Death" and I got this off of the website.

"The novel that started it all.

Writing as J.D. Robb, Nora Roberts has won new fans with her futuristic series of romantic crime novels. New York police lieutenant Eve Dallas gets involved with Roarke, a suspect in her lastest murder case. But passion and seduction have rules all their own...."

This is the site's URL...

Ohhh, I think she's great. I am trying to find a set of her books on Ebay, but have been out bid so far....I actually started in the middle of the series, so I need to find the beginning ones.

I just began reading Nora Roberts novels last year, and I've become hooked, pretty much exhausting my local library's selection. I've read several J.D. Robb books, my favorite being Portrait in Death.

Oh, CelticRose, other than her Celtic novels, you might want to try the MacGregors. Daniel's a riot!

I also liked the Chesapeake Bay series.

I haven't read J.D. Robb yet (well, I've read Nora Roberts, but not anything by her pseudonym).

I thought I had posted on here but I guess not so.... I love J.D. Robb. I know its Nora Roberts pen name for the In Death Series and I read Nora Roberts too but I adore the In Death Series. I love to watch the way Roarke and Eve's relationship evolves and how she deals with her history and his and her job. It's great the way he always seems to get involved with her investigations even when she doesn't want him to. I can't wait for the next one to come out I think its this summer.

I absolutely adore J.D. Robb. Roarke and Eve are a great series. I originally recevied the first three books as ARCs (Advanced Reading Copies) so I could review them. I was hooked. The males in the family cannot wait for each one to come out.
