got any l silly metaphors
these are actual analogies and metaphors found in high school essays...

the plan was simple, like my brother-in-law phil.
but unlike phil, this plan just might work.

OR

john and mary had never met. they were like two
hummingbirds who had also never met.

OR EVEN

mcBride fell 12 stories, hitting the pavement like
a hefty bag filled with vegetable soup.

OR one of my favorites....

she had a deep, throaty, genuine laugh, like that
sound a dog makes just before it throws up.

"If I say something that can be interpreted in two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant it the other way."

often in error, never in doubt.

if guns kill people then my pencil mis-spells words
quote: larry the cable guy

sometimes what ya think ya want
isnt what ya thought ya wanted
till ya get what ya thought ya wanted
and then what ya had is gone....
