Any of you love poetry and read it very often? I have several favorite poets of old that I just love to read. Some of them are the following:

Lord Alfred Tennyson
William Shakespeare
Alfred Noyes
Dante Gabriel Rossetti
William Wordsworth
Robert Browning
Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Christina Rossetti
Francis William Bourdillon

**This is to share your fave poets and their work only, not to share your own poetry. You can do that in the Celtic Hearts forum. smile.gif

Dundee, I forgot to mention Robert Burns. I must admit I have a really hard time understand his "auld Scots" though and have to keep reading the lines over till I get it! LOL But I do like his work. thumbs_up.gif

I am also like you in the fact that I wax and wane on my times when I read poetry too. I would like to get back to reading a poem a night before I go to bed.
