Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I've already posted in several spots, and having fun. It's great to be amongst folks who have similar interests.

Hi everyone and many thanks to Aaediwen for helping me reach this page and get aquianted with the site. This site was really a wonderful thing to stumble on. I went to a Scottish festival in my home town recently and some lovely bagpipe players directed me to a site that ended up having a link here. All of the celtic nations are wonderful but I am particulary fasinated with Ireland, despite the fact that I'm only about a fourth Irish. Geneology has been a big thing recently and I think I found my family crest on one side, but not really sure. There is more but I figure I should save something for chatting.
Don't be afraid to peruse the message boards or make a post!

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Welcome to you Reindeer and Celtic cat. It is very nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy the music and the people around here are really nice...I will be looking forward to you posting and telling us little bit about yourself.
Hello Celtic Cat! So good to have you with us! I really think you'll like it here. Besides the good music, there are lots of friendly people to chat with. So come back and visit with us often, okay?
I just joined the site. I found my way here by way of Live365 radio. I love listening to Celtic music, and I have it on my computer pretty much all the time at work.
I work at the University of Chicago in the IT area. I manage a system that manages the University's telephone bills. For hobbies, outside of work, I love to bake (actually it has become somewhat of an obsession--I might have to find a local chapter of Baking Annonymous).
Other than that, I am married, have a 27-year old daughter, a cat and a dog.
I am looking forward to the adventures I will encounter on this site.
Hi John North! Nice to meet you! You will have lots of fun here and learn much too. Baking, eh? I used to do that a lot too until too much of it went to my hips! Now I stay away from that practice. But it is good that you enjoy doing that.
You will meet many wonderful people here on the site. Enjoy!
I am glad that you found us. It is a pleasure to meet you. Sounds like you have a very full life. I too like baking.. I hope you enjoy the music and the people as much as I do..I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
