Hello Redbud!!!

A question: do you have iTunes? If not, then get the free download from Apple. That works perfectly with HR. Go to where it says "Radio Tools" on this website's toolbar, mouse over to "Listen Now!" and select your Internet speed (Modem yucky.gif or Broadband thumbs_up.gif ). Then double-click on the .pls file you download and it should launch iTunes and begin playing.

Here's the URL for the iTunes download: www.apple.com/itunes/download/

well... I may not stay here if tonight's experience keeps continuing...

Does L365 drop out and act like this a lot?

I mean, it's bad enough to have to hear audio ads in the middle of a song(odd that it never seems to drop out during them!!!!) but tonight it's just awful. I get to hear 8-10 seconds of a song in between dropouts lasting from 25-30 seconds all the way up to 2 full minutes! I have done everything I've found in these forums to try to help but it ain't working! This just plain sucks... Is it any better if you go the VIP route?

Sorry to dump this on you all but I'm just frustrated as hell right now

No, it does not! I have dial up and have no problem whatsoever with the radio station! And I am NOT in the VIP section!

your hearing ads in the middle of the site? I never do! When you went to the first front page, did you click on modem or broadband? Then you will get a popup that you have to sign in on and you get one ad and that is it! I can't believe you are having this trouble! I am very sorry! don't give up. Somebody here can help you! I am not real computer literate so I can only help so much, but there are others here that can walk you through it and help you! I wish I could help you further! I am sorry.

Thanks CelticRose. I couldn't sleep so I'm back. And thanks for your kind words. I've read a lot of your posts and you seem a very nice person even tho yer not a computer nerd(I'm not much of one either). I live so far out in the boonies I doubt I'll ever have broadband. Yes, I log on just as you describe. I'll be calling my ISP tomorrow, fer sure! But I doubt they will be much help. And yes, I'm hearing audio ads during the songs. I wonder if it's a ploy to get me to sign up and give them money. What makes it so bad is I stayed up untill sunrise yesterday with hardly any problems at all! While typing this up I tried L365 again and I'm still having lots of dropouts. It seems just a wee bit better, but... All I have up and running right now is it and this forum-nothing else. I guess I'll load up all my Clann An Drumma CDs in the player and just listen to them.

howdy all

I've been listening for a while now. Stumbled across this site while I was at work. I needed somthing to listen too. The laser engraver isn't very entertaining. I am in the Pacific Northwest. I'm just curious if there are any other members from out here or am I alone? I didnt know there was this much cletic music, I was actually trying to find the lirics to a song a like when I found this site. walkman.gif

Thanks for the welcomes!

I do have iTunes, & it seems to work fine on everything else. But I am techno-challenged, & will have to get my DH to work on getting me my music!

See everyone around the forums.

Hi Snuffy! Hope you are still with us! Perhaps you should write in the "technical support" forum and see if somebody can't help you in there. Start a new thread on it and tell folks the problems you are having. I really wish I could help you. I can understand your frustration! I have dial up because I live out in the middle of the desert.............boonies too! Everyone is very nice here and I would hate to see you leave because you are having a problem getting the music! Someone should be able to help you! hang in there! Good to talk to you! I am a hermit too! LOL
