a little rant...

music stirs in my soul and i cannot feel a thing
i'm so numb it hurts to move
i'm so numb i have to lose
nothing's real when you're on a shadow's wing

blood, guts, sweat, tears, lust
heartache, misery, denial, trust
all these burdens left in waste
i can't stay long can't stand the taste

my bones break beneath it all
i run backwards and start to scream
but i only fall
i only fall

that last little flow was written while listening to tool. cool band btw.

i have been sick and i hate it. when i get sick, i get sick. it's a numbing feeling that feels like everything, including time, slows down. i must breathe in the air. i must take everything back and get back to work.

i feel hopeful because i know the new year will bring about new opportunities and that through it all i have god beside me.

Stress?

Oh yes I get stressed.

when my house is not as clean as I like it to be. GRRRRRRRRRRR

when my dogs needs to go outside in the middle of the night ARRRRRGGGGGG

when I have loads of laundry to do and no one is doing it for me HEEELLLPPPP!!!

so if it comes together I simply take the dog out and leave the rest for a while and overlook it - grab a good book, take a hot bath and afterwards it doesn't look so bad anymore.

and quite relaxing too.

Stress right now is...the most stressful thing in the world--love. Or my lack of that is.
I believe I've fallen for someone comepletely unattainable and I feel like a complete idiot about it...bah. I don't even know, it's a complicated situation but I feel had we met at a different time under different circumstances we could have had something.
I've had enough of this unrequited deal, because this isn't the first time. It's becoming QUITE the annoyance.

If we could just stand here, without the words, would that be enough? ..Look at the sky now. What color is it? Or the way a hawk flies. Or you wake up and your ribs are bruised thinking so hard on somebody. What do you call that?

I feel your pain there lyra, love can be painful sometimes! I hope you get to let this person know how you truly feel so you can feel good in time for the holidays.

That's a cool point there single speed! Dessert is the best, stressed is not.

Here's another rant of mine while listening to the Beastie Boys (go figure!)

I think I'm a miser in this time of lust
I'm pushing up daisies and starting to rust
I've got my heiny in a bind, not been shoppin' on time
Gotta sip a little gin and some beer to unwind

I know what the rest of them are gonna say
Alcohol's not the answer yeah it's not the way
So I write down this rhyme 'stead of keepin' it all inside
Gonna take my little lady for a late-night ride

To the grocery store we get up and drive
She's been feeling my pulse but I swear I'm not alive
It's getting colder and colder outside
Gotta zip up your jacket just to cruise in my ride

'Cause my heater's been broke damn near all year
I've got a hemi in the front and a tire in the rear
Nothin' but love for my Highlander folk
Excuse me while I break like an egg shell on a yolk

Well I don't know what I've been told
But Celtic radio music don't ever get old
Living up my life from day to day
Better stop rappin' 'fore you all throw me away!

Yes, Aaediwen...that's what I get for listening to the Beastie Boys. I must say, music is everywhere. I try not to limit myself although here lately I've been listening to mostly Evanescence, A Perfect Circle, the occasional Tool, and a little bit of everything else thrown into the mix.

If my WinAmp could talk it would probably say, "Stick you a genre, Josh!"

Merry Christmas everyone!

~If my WinAmp could talk it would probably say, "Stick you a genre, Josh!"~ Haulder

It's good to branch out though! And it's true what you say about music being everywhere.

But my rant. Yes....

While it was nothing life threatening, I was in a car accident on Thursday evening. Again, everyone was fine (except my car.... we're seeing what we can do about him though, and my wrist... just a sprain.). What really irks me is the fact that the officer I called showed no interest at all in my side of the story. He goes to the other person involved (Who was speeding and high.. I'll get into that in a moment) gets his story, comes over to us (my three friends and myself) asks for my licenes, registration and side of the story. No, "Are youalright?" no, "Is anyone injured?". No nothing. He then immediately goes back over to the other person and talks to them the rest of the night before any of us could comment on the smell coming from his car when we went to see the damage done to it. The guy had since rolled down his windows and lit a cigarette. But BEFORE the officer arrived on the scene (It takes a good 30 minutes for them to how up anywhere in this town) he'd called a friend on his cell phone while I was on the phone calling 911. HIs friend shows up and takes the guys stash away.

Now, I'm rulled at fault. Because I was conducting a U-turn (yeah I know.. my mistake) but I'd stopped, looked, nothing was there. Nothing. So I pull out and go about turning around when the white car speeds down the street behind me, pulls into the other lane (On a double yellow) and proceedes to tear the front end of my car off. While he was HIGH.

We ended up calling the officer back, but "I didn't smell anything, I didn't see anything." was his responce. "You're lucky I don't give you a ticket, miss." At that point I had to walk away, I was furious and in tears. Not a good combination for any of this. And to top it off.... now I have no car to go and see my biological father tomorrow unless some mirical happens. I've only JUST met him this last year, he lives in Texas and I've seen him twice. I can't miss this!!!

Excuse me, I'm going to have to stop... I'm getting overly upset (and my wrist, the only injury and a very minor one, is hurting again).

Now that the Holidays are over however, may all our stress levels drop drasticaly.
