Hi Swanny,

Oh this poor pup. Poor Swanny and family too. Did the Vet say how long this cough will be around. That is really scary to me. The dog I lost from parvo had a deep dry cough. Seamus is thankful to have you! Let us all know how he is doing.

WhooHoo!!! Seamus is eating food today. That's a major improvement actually. ONly a couple of tablespoons at a time, but a little every hour or so. biggrin.gif

Great news. Our "daughter" had parvo when she was a puppy and pulled through it. She is now 14 years old. Hang in there. thumbs_up.gif

Hi Milo. Welcome to the board. You too, Siobhan Blues.

I'm stuck at work, but my wife provided an excellent puppy report this morning. Young Seamus awoke ready to rock and roll. After devouring his morning breakfast he set his curious teeth to my wife's sheepskin slippers, which were promptly replaced with appropriate chew toys. He has explored just about every chew-toy in the house, both his own and Chinook's. He even engaged the "Strong Winter Wind" in a wrestling bout.

Sounds like the "little big dog" is doing much, much better.

SB! Beautiful little kitty! Is Milo what you call a Tabby? I hear they are very intelligent cats. Great photo too! Love the lighting in it! Would make a great portrait! wink.gif

Swanny, really terrific news! Seamus just keeps getting better and better. I know he and your family must all be relieved too.............this little guy is going to make it! Yay! Thanks for the update!

Keltic! Great pics of your children and animals. Wow that hedge hog is really small! I had no idea they were that small or is that a baby? I live around Geckos and I have never seen one as pretty as yours! You have great looking kids too!

Yes, he's named for the cat in "Milo and Otis"!
But secretly he's also named for Milo Hamilton, a radio/tv announcer for the Atlanta Braves baseball team in the 70's; I was an absolute fanatic back then when I was just entering my teenage years, and I still remember hearing Milo H's wonderful voice on the radio broadcasts of Braves games. Last week when my dad came over and met our new kitten & heard what his name was, he looked at me and grinned and said "You named him after Milo Hamilton, didn't you??" I laughed and said yes, while my kids said "WHO?"

What a wonderful story Siobhan, that is one special cat! thumbs_up.gif smile.gif I think he looks a lot like Milo in the movie. He was definitely meant to have that name.

CelticRose and Rindy,

It is an African Pygmy hedgehog so it won't get much larger than that. European hedgehogs (Miss Tiggy Winkle) grow to about 12" long and weigh up to two pounds.
I live around Geckos and I have never seen one as pretty as yours!/QUOTE]
The leopard gecko is from Pakistan and India. (Just to avoid confusion, the leopard gecko is the one on the sweatshirt and not in it!).
You have great looking kids too!
Thank you! They have quite the character as well! My whole family is pictured under my profile (minus the fish, hedgehog and gecko).
