Celtic Rose, I will as soon as I can get to him!! It's kind of a lengthy process since he doesn't like to be pinned down for very long!!! I'm going to try to get at him this weekend!!

Well, I tried to shave Shadow yesterday with a shaver set that my mom bought me but it was taking way too so I stopped. I'm going to have to go buy a pet's shaver and hope that the blades are further apart so it's easy to shave him!!! wink.gif

Rindy, it's totally slipped my mind on how to post pics here!! dry.gif I know that you can do it by pressing the IMG bottom at the top of replying to a post but I just can't think right now how I posted Shadows and Ezra's pics!!!

He actually looks pretty funny right now since he has this strip down his back that is so much shorter than the rest of him!! So I'll be getting that new shaver very soon to finish the job!! laugh.gif

Moonchild when you post pics you can do it one of two ways or more actually. But if you click on browse, that will take you to "My pictures" on your computer and then right click on it and it will automatically go in the reply. The other way to do it if you are hosting the pic through a photosite is to click on the image that gives you an url and before the url type in img in brackets and after the url type in /img in brackets........no spaces. Hope that helps.

I tried using a shaver to my dogs once but it just took too long. So now I use the scissors! biggrin.gif

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting in this forum. I'd like to share the story and a photo of my kitty "Fhatty" aka "Fluffer Nutter". I found her (as I find all my animals) abandoned Fluffer was in the parking lot of a petrol station. She could fit in the palm of your hand she was listless emaciated and covered in her own feces. When I first saw her I thought she was just a piece of litter but she flinched and I looked closer and was mortified to realize she was a living creature. I almost broke into tears rite there. I scooped her up and took her home(much to my then 12 year old daughters delight). Well, we fed her, loved her, fed her some more, bathed her, de loused her and she's now a fat, lazy, self centered, spoiled most cherished member of our somewhat odd family. I think most of us have similar story's and I stand and applaud all who take the time and effort to rescue those innocent animals forgotten or abandoned by the ones who should love and care for them.

Thanks Lily O

LilysApple, I just did a search for the maincoon and I think that is her breed. They have many different colorings but they have the trademark of being long haired. Most of them though have the colorings of both our cats.

With Shadow being so big as he is I think he must be mixed with something else, I'm not to sure though!! I got him from an ex-boyfriend's friend about 4 yrs ago. He was rescued from a shelter and was about to be put down. So I don't know what his breed is or even his age. I have a guess at how old is he but not exactly.

Hey Lily! What a beautiful kitty and beautiful pic of her. I love to hear rescue stories of animals. Good for you! My sister rescued a baby kitty that was hiding in a drain pipe and was her best friend for years till she had to put it down. Really broke my sister's heart as it would all of us.
