So what's yours?

Mine is Garden Gate. It has no ads, and is just chocked full of information, ideas, and practical plans.

Another favourite is a Canadian Publication, Harrowsmith Country Life. It's more of a country living magazine, but every month it has gardening information, and frequently has gardening feature articles.

Wow a place to talk about gardening? biggrin.gif
I keep finding great things at this website.. clap clap.

I agree Brian, Harrowsmith is my very favorite mag... Have you seen an issue of Birds and Blooms? Glossy but nice. Also Gardening Life is good. My local librarian lets me take home any old issues of gardening mags (the ones that have served out a useful purpose at the library and are no longer wanted)

So what if they are 8 months old? Lots of cut outs for my Binders ( scrapbooks) laugh.gif

Mike.

I used to subscribe to Birds & Blooms. I loved the pictures. Very nice, but I decided it wasn't worth the price anymore. I also used to subscribe to Canadian Gardening. I found it had too many ads, and was not really a true Gardening magazine....kinda along the lines of Better Homes & Gardens. Not enough focus, and way too many ads.

I just subscribed to Gardening Life. They offer a free trial issue, so I'll see how that one is.

I used to love Rebecca's Garden Magazine. It was only published for a couple of years before it went under, but it was very informative.

My favorite gardening magazine is Country Living Gardener, hands down! I've let several other subscriptions drop, but have kept this now for three years and always look forward to the next issue. Their website is http://www.cl-gardener.com/

Take a peek!

I honestly do not think I can pick ONE...

I own Garden Gate a nod, I love that periodical,
and it mused the name for this wee part of the site ...

Garden is good, so is CLG, as Dreamer mentioned..
Homes and Gardens , garden publications are outstanding .

There are so many now, as gardening becomes more popular,,
and sub specialized.. from Water to Butterfly Gardens..
There is something to enchant us all smile.gif

Paula

P.S , I bet the mailman wishes I'd just pick one !

I also like to browse through Fine Gardening. Sometimes it's a little too in depth on some articles for my taste, but that's what it's all about I guess.

QUOTE (celticpaddler @ 23-Nov-2004, 11:05 PM)
Also Gardening Life is good.

I finally received my first copy of Garden Life. Unfortunately, I wasn't really impressed...at least not enough to pay the foreign postage from Candada to the U.S. I felt it had too many ads, and wasn't real impressed with the layout. But hey...I gave it a chance. smile.gif
