My dream job? Well I would be an author and (there has to be an and here because doing one thing would bore me to death LOL) I would complete my studies that I didn't get to finish due to getting sick and get to Quantico. I would be a Forensic Psychologist and catch serial killers....then I would write the books about them.

-grins- While at it, at home with Anthony Hopkins, I would have him do his Hannibal impression for me when I came home..."Hello Clarice" angel_not.gif

...but then I awake....

the reason i said no drugs is because my granma had a terrible time with it and my ma started rather late a she was preggers in her early 40's and seemed to go rather gaga about that!!!!(twas her 2nd marriage!!)seemed both grands had really bad times so it truely makes me leery...i suppose i should consider myself lucky as i'm 47 and beginning this nonsense!! tongue.gif anyways there's my bit to it....

Welcome, Vixen, nice to have you join us! I totally agree about Sean Connery - the older he's gotten the better he looks. And that voice, mmmm I could listen to him read the phone book. rolleyes.gif

And your diet idea is interesting... I did a similar thing many years ago and lost a bunch of weight by mainly eating only when I was hungry and stopping as soon as I was no longer hungry. No seconds, no late night stuff. I think I lost 18-20 pounds at the time. I remember I actually lost any desire for sweets, too; I've never been much of a dessert person, so it wasn't long before I just didn't care about them. You've inspired me to try it again; I definately need to lose some weight now because its crept up on me and at my age its going to be hard to lose it the older I get.

I'm certainly not as lucky as Connery - I do NOT look better the older I get.

I just came in to take a look around and I think Dreamer1 busted me.

My Secret to Diets is very easy and anyone can do it. All I have to do is just think about how much I want to weight and it starts going down on its own. But there is a trick to this. You have to think about it all the time because if you don't, it just jumps right back on you. sad.gif

Hi Ladies....no one has posted here for awhile, so I thought I would check to see how everyone is doing.

Things are good in my little part of the world. I spent the day shopping with my two daughters (one by birth and one by marriage). We usually go shopping at least once a week but lately we haven't been able to. Since my daughter and son-in-law were going away tonight to celebrate their anniversary, hubby and I have the grandkids tonight. They have been in bed for hours now and I plan on heading to my bed shortly. I have to get them up and ready for school in the morning, and since I am not used to getting up at a set time, the alarm is set.

So, that is what is going on with me, what is going on with you? biggrin.gif

Hey Blue, long time no see! Good to have you back in Radioland.

I've got about a half hour then I've got to go with my daughter to visit her horse Glory and her pasture pal Delilah. It rained so hard here yesterday that we couldn't go see them, clean stalls, dispense treats (I'm the Treat Lady, so the horses like me a lot) and let Lauren tend to their hooves & do their grooming. I sure wish my house would sell so we could move out to the country and have the girls with us all the time. My dream is to sip my morning coffee on a nice shady front porch, and be able to watch horses grazing nearby.

Hello on this glorious Friday Afternoon!!! I finally have a weekend to enjoy myself!!!! I am not babysitting this weekend, and I can go out and have fun!!!! The club that I belong to (Clinton Turnverein...anyone with German heritage knows that Turnverein means tumbling in German) is having a meat raffle on Sat, and I am looking forwrd to it. People buy tickets, kind of like a lottery to get various cuts of meat, like pork loin, steaks, lobster, shrimp....

It is a fundraiser for the club, as we just renovated our member's area.

My hubby has to work, so I am going by myself...how else can I have fun???????
