Metallica-Reloaded...

Slainte note.gif

All I have to say about Metallica is that their work has definitely fallen off since The Black Album. Load & Reload have a couple of good songs, but I refuse to posess a copy of St. Anger.

BTW, the other day I was browsing the iTunes Music Store. The only thing Metallica-related I could find was a Euro-techno tribute album. I listened to a couple of samples and heard the worst rendition of "Whiplash" ever recorded puke.gif .

I just created an iMix on iTunes. Here's the URL:

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...ylist?id=264426

BTW, I was just looking at the album cover for Jefferson Airplane's "Surrealistic Pillow". In her day, I bet Grace Slick got a lot of appreciative looks from the guys.

I need to do that too. It has been a couple weeks now since I have. Can you defrag and still be on the net though? I thought you had to be out of everything!

It usually depends on what program you have. My Norton SystemWorks doesn't require that it be the only app running.

Thanks Mike! thumbs_up.gif

I am not listening to anything right now, but today I had to drive out of town and I listened to my two Clann An Drumma CDs, Tribal Eyes and Tribal Waves, the whole way there and back! thumbs_up.gif

I really want an Ipod, but holy cow! They are so expensive! $300 bucks? So I guess I will settle for a portable CD player to take on trips again. My other one broke. cool.gif

Rose, I suggest you look at this:

Apple.com iPod Store

I will help you in your search for a new portable CD player.

Depends on what you're willing to spend.

As a rule, I avoid all of Sony's portable CD players, but that's because I'm cursed when it comes to them. Every one I have had has not lasted longer than six months.

I'd recommend the Panasonic SL-SX430 I bought a couple of months ago, but it is no longer on the market.
