Lately I have been listening to the Anonymous 4 "Hildegard Von Bingen: 11,000 Virgins, Chants for the Feast of St. Ursula" when CelticRadio goes on the fritz.

At this very moment, I'm listening to Ian Gallagher do "Back Home in Derry" on Celtic Radio. And I'm struck by how much this sounds like Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."

Coincidence? Unconscious sampling? Out and out thievery? Does anyone know?

I've gotten on to a big Steven McDonald kick. I've got Stone of Destiny on in my Computer CD player, and Highland Farewell on in the car CD player... now all I need is Sons of Somerled in the house, and I'll be all around Steven McDonald!

And more than likely not a rip, Deckers... probably some old tune that they both used.

Right now I'm listening to Celtic Radio, or at least I'm trying to, hubby is making a lot of noise, he's trying to drill a hole in a couple of bolts!

CR keeps shutting down and I finally gave up. So, I popped in Mike Oldfield's Ommadawn.
