Well, why wouldn't I think it was fun? Doesn't it help me to meet nice, new people like you? I think that makes it all worth while, don't you? smile.gif

Isn't it a hoot, though? And hasn't she got a nice avatar to go with it all? And isn't it great the heavy weather's about to break in big whacking storms, and come on, be honest, don't you love the thunder and lightning? biggrin.gif

Was I gone for a while? Could it have anything to do with an email failure???

How many times have I said it? Is there anything funnier than a room full of Gaelic Goofs asking questions?

Are any of you still puzzling over my Irish queries? Do you know, that because of the kindness of a friend, you don't have to anymore?

But, do you think that will keep me from asking questions???

You didn't guess yet that we all care about the condition of Irish government, did you? Because isn't that where we're all going when the whole rest of the world runs out of money?

Aren't some of you going to Scotland?

Don't you think that I can discern a bunch of (mostly?) goodhearted Celts when I smell -urh- see them?

You are all basicaly good, aren't you? Would anyone prone to bitting please declair himself now?

Wouldn't it be nice though if we did all go to Ireland? Is the coast really made of Emerald? Will you wake me when I'm done dreaming?

Well, Scotland isn't doing as well financially, is it? Who would have thought Ireland would quietly pass the whole EU for prosperity, and isn't it about time those good folk got over their Angela's Ashes image?

Let's see, I've only seen Ireland by flying over it, haven't I. . . ? But where did I ever see anything else that green, truly, except in the heart of an emerald? smile.gif

Is it "good night" you're after fishing for, lad? And wouldn't I be the terrible one, not to be wishing it to you? yawn.gif

Is it morning already???

Are you being uncooperative on purpose? Could you not tell that I was fishing for a, "Poetry Eh?"
Can you not sense poetry itself, dripping like honey from every word that I type??

rolleyes.gif I suppose I must rise to the bait, mustn't I? So...."Poetry Eh?" Would you care to expand?

Did I shame you into asking that?? Would you feel better if I apologized?

Or does it shock you to think that I would take pen to paper? Are my sweet (and honey coated?) words so much doggerel to you?

Must I prove that I know how to make verse that rhymes?

Aye then, I think it is true...one must prove ones own words, don't you? When we are teased into waiting for a rhyme, we faithfully wait - don't we? The real question will be...can one make a rhyme that will always be - in the form of a question??? Can such a thing be done?

Wasn't I thinking more along the lines of traditional poetry, say in the romantic style?

Ah, but am I a coward to balk at the thought of interrogative verse?
What do you think of this???

Where have gone the moonlit nights?
Whose airs are clear, and stars are bright,
Which fill the skies to earth's delight,
From dayfall untill morning?

And are the city lights so dear?
To forsake sight of orb or sphere,
Which lay unseen as shining tears,
And signs of heaven's mourning?

Then will you take me to a place?
Whose nights are lit by God's own grace,
Where, sun, the moon can freely chase,
And stars may fair be counted?

How was that? Hmm?? Have I proved my worth? Will the council sit in judgement???

Did you know that the council gives 2 enthusiastic thumbs up???? And did you know that if I could get my shoes off just now I'd give 4 thumbs up??? Did you know that was excellent? Can I thank you for sharing it with us? Or would it make you blush if I did?
