Okay, I am totally the only one in the office right now so I'm watching the Haggis webcams to see if I can spot any more haggi. And checking the forums to see what's going on around these parts. Got my Christmas music on in the background, too.

I think I'll do a little online shopping for gifts now. Since the phone only rings about once or twice an hour, I'm not what you would call busy. smile.gif

This week lasted forever at work. Not a lot to do but finally had more than enough for Thursday and Friday. I am so ready to chill for a while. Stopped by Borders on my way home and had a nice hot mocha and now I'm going to live vicariously through my Sims2 game. Just a little mindless relaxation - aaaahhh.

Going to torture my Sims characters again. I spend way too much time playing that game. hehehe

However, I've accomplished a good bit of my Christmas shopping so I feel that I can reward myself with my simple pleasures.

Just got home from an all-day outing. First, we went to eat. Then saw The Golden Compass (which I would give a C). Then we picked up my kids and took them to Stone Mountain to see the Christmas lights and hang out for a while. I'm amazed that it's already 11:30 and I wanted to get in bed early but blew it. Drat.

I'm just in the house, setting and listening to my radio waiting for the one-on-one interview between Sen. Bill Bradley and Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards. As a former presidential candidate and United States senator, Bill Bradley will brings a rare insight and knowledge to the interviewer’s chair. Ohh by the way, have seen the holiday special they have right now in sirius/freeradio. Might want to check it if you aint got a portable.

I am drinking my morning Pepsi and posting replies to E-mails and answering things here, I enjoy this site and the people on it. Though I am chilling after a bit of a tiff in the Kilt Manufacturers question area.

Ater a busy morning, I am just working on some mindless but tedious stuff here at the office, interspersed with checking my email, listening to Christmas music, and posting on the forums. We just got some Christmas goodies delivered - lots of chocolatey fun. One of the gals when out for a run before it gets dark and we said we'd just nibble on the chocolates while she runs - we'll live vicariously through her. Yeah, I feel better already. I think I'll have to go get another piece of chocolate. Maybe one of those mint hershey kisses this time.

Tonight I have to go back to Target and return a shower curtain. I so hate to shop and, bloody hell, I got what I thought was a plastic liner and it was the cloth kind. grrr... But, I think I'll let my SO treat me to dinner out somewhere so the trauma of having to shop won't be so bad.

And, perhaps I need to look at the DVD's whilst I'm there. I'm getting the urge to watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas...the orginal cartoon version with Boris Karloff, that is.
