I am sitting here listening to Celtic music and being somewhat intrigues by Shenaniganz247 comment. Cherry Lemon Soda does sound kind of refreshing can it be created as a diet drink. Now I have to send a PM to Shenaniganz247!

I"m sure that the drink i was referring to could be used as a diet drink as well. I'll share the recipe (which I did not create) with everybody now. Shouldn't be hard to sub in some diet drinks instead.

Sprite and Mello Yello there is no set measurement as to how much you need. Just mix them over ice until you get a taste you enjoy. I recommend using the mello yello first and then adding the sprite, I don't know why but it just tastes better that way. After you've got those mixed to your liking, you simply add some cherry juice, however u seem to like it. I myself had a jar of Marachino(sp?) cherries and simply poured that juice into it and had it mixed. The taste is quite amazing, when u first take a drink the sprite and mello yello shock you like an energy drink or something, but the aftertaste is heavy on the cherry juice and very soothing.

like i said there are no measurements on this so just mix and mix until u find somethin u like, i don't think you can go wrong with however much u put in. Just do not add too much cherry juice, just a few small pours into the mixture and u should be good.

I'm sure you could use diet sprite i'm not sure if mello yello has a diet alternative.

Enjoy and if you try it lemme know what you thought about it beer_mug.gif

That sounds really interesting Shenaniganz247. I will have to find out if we get Mello Yello in Canada and, of course, there's never a bad time for a Marichino cherry to be in the house. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I'll try to remember (not something I'm doing very well with lately) to let you know how it goes.

Drambuie cake, you say Harlot? I found a few recipes that might be of use to you.

Listening to my vinyl records, and wishing the CD I won in the contest here this month, that's now hopefully on its way, was record too instead of a CD. Valpal, I envy you. I've stuck at home with no work from my employer for over a month now. *sighs* What do you do?
