Lady Marti agrees with sister, and reaches for her own tankard, as she looks around to see the new faces in the tavern.

WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE....
BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE
AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT
AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY.....
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER
TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE
AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME
THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS..

The door opens and closes so quickly that the regulars realize the man that just entered had years of experience trying to keep the cold out and the cheer in.
Slightly the worse for the 45 years he carried, he waited for the sniggers and chuckles over his outfit to die down.
When they didn't even begin, he grinned a bit and shook the old roadworn duster from his shoulders. As he knocked the dust from his Stetson and smoothed his kilt, he took in the folks that were looking him over.

"Evenin' folks," he spoke quietly. "Someone told me that this might be a place to meet a few kind souls and a friendly whiskey".

gtrplr enters quietly, looks around for a moment. It has been far too long since he was here. Alas, he cannot stay for long. After warming himself by the fire and tossing back a shot of Bushmill's, he smiles at those present, nods to a few familiar faces, then departs, wishing he could stay longer and hoping his next visit will be sooner rather than later.

Pushing his Stetson back a bit, the quiet man speaks, "If I might assist you ladies a bit with the song..." In a stong pure baritone he sings...

Oh you landsmen and you seamen come listen to my song
It's of a trick was played on me it won't detain you long
I came from sea the other day a lass I chanced to meet
She kindly asked me to a dance, was up on Peter street

"Oh no", says I, me fair maid, though I can dance quite well
Tonight I'm bound for Wicoloes town, 'tis where my people dwell
You'd better come with me she said the distance is not far
And finding her so frend-ily I jumped into her car

Well as the dance was over, straight to the bed did go
Was little did I ever think she'd pull my over-throw
Robbed my gold watch, and thirty pounds, a pack of fags, and fled
And left me there stark naked alone upon the bed.

Is that the one you were after my pretty wee lady?
